Your Grade

40 % Assignments, activities, in class work, notes, extra credit
60% Pop quizzes, chapter tests, other assessments

Added to both quarter grades - semester test

*** You must show work to receive full credit ***.

Quality work - If assignments are less that 80% correct, your paper will be returned to you marked with a date of one week to correct errors. Please redo the problems missed on a separate piece of paper and staple the corrections on top of the original paper. Remember to show work.

Tests - if less than 65% correct, you may make arrangements on your own time to correct to a 65% within a reasonable time (approx. 2 weeks)

Grades are posted in the classroom by student number most every week. 7th graders will be asked to record their grade in their planner so their parents can see how they are doing each week.

7th grade students who do not hand all assignments in for the previous week will be notified on Monday as to what is missing. They will be given until Wednesday to get it in for 1/2 credit. Parents also will be notified by email or phone.  If the work doesn't come in by Wednesday 3:15, they will be assigned a Saturday School.

Make-up work - you are allowed one day for each day absent plus one additional day.
Late work will receive 1/2 credit of the corrected value. It can not be corrected.

Starting with the third tardy in class, you will serve a 15 minute detention.

If you feel you need extra help, make arrangements for before or after school help on most days. Get help before you get lost!
